Located right here in Bend, Oregon, BEAM is a space built for kids who learn, play, and grow a little differently, and for families who believe that different is something to be celebrated.

Through our trauma-informed, relationship-centered approach, BEAM helps neurodivergent learners rediscover confidence, regulation, and joy in learning. What began as an after-school program has grown into a thriving movement designed to meet every child right where they are.

Please note: Completing the form doesn’t guarantee a placement. We try to keep our daily student to staff ratio low to make sure each participant gets the support they need. We’ll reach out with placement updates and next steps once your form is received.

BEAM began with a handful of educators who refused to believe that exclusion was the only option for children who learn and feel differently. What started as a small after-school program has grown into a movement that’s changing the way our community thinks about education, inclusion, and belonging.
Our story is one of courage, compassion, and connection, a journey from classrooms that didn’t fit every child to creating one that finally does. It’s about listening instead of labeling, understanding instead of isolating, and leading with love every step of the way.
